MV Agusta’s Brutale 1078RR has been voted the most beautiful motorcycle of the Milan show.
More than 26,000 visitors cast ballots for their favourite motorcycles of the show, and despite a flood of all-new machines, the mildly-updated Brutale – which gets a bigger 1078cc engine for 2008 – won overall.
In total, the MV took 25.7 percent of the vote, easily outstripping its nearest competitor, Ducati’s all-new Monster 696 with 15.2 percent.
Third was BMW’s HP2 Sport, with 9.2 percent of the votes.
The new Brutale gets a 154bhp engine, new suspension borrowed from the F4 312RR, forged wheels, a slipper clutch and radial Brembo Monobloc brakes.
It tops a range that now starts with the Brutale 910S, and also features the middle-range 989R.
