At the official launch of the 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle range in Paris, on the eve of the 2007 Paris Motorcycle Show, the firm has unveiled a makeover for the 2008 Kawasaki VN2000 Classic- but it will only be available in mainland Europe.

While UK riders will be able to buy the current Kawasaki model, Europeans get an updated motorcycle, with the 2008 Kawasaki VN2000 Classic featuring the same V-Twin engine, with updates to meet the Euro-III emission laws, and a low seat height.

Other updates to the European-only 2008 Kawasaki VN2000 Classic include buckhorn-style handlebars; a thicker, re-shaped passenger seat, an etched insignia on the right-side airbox cover, a new speedo; and the ignition key is now located on the top of the fuel tank.

Other models launched by Kawasaki at the same event are the 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R, the 2008 Kawasaki ZXR 250 Ninja, and the 2008 Kawasaki ZZR1400.
