Reclaim Our Tracks

In early 2010 our editor had a conversation with a friend who was thinking of buying a track bike. He was a trackday regular who was often the only one on a road bike, usually the only one who’d ridden to the circuit and he always felt like an outsider in a world dominated by track bikes.
  That conversation set us at Bike thinking about a different kind of trackday. One for people who’d ridden their road bike to the circuit and wanted to experience circuit riding. No vans, no tyrewarmers and no egos. Just road riders, road bikes and a circuit on which to go and play. Reclaim Our Tracks was born.
  The first day, at Brands Hatch in June 2010, felt like a new dawn for the trackday, taking it back to the pure fun of taking road bikes out on a track.
