Engine: l/c 2v single, 125cc
Power: 13bhp
Top speed: 70mph
Weight: 115kg

The CBR125RR was a massive sales success for Honda - not surprising really since it offers sporty looks for over £1000 less than the Italian competition. Bikes like the Aprilia RS125 and Cagiva Mito may beat it on performance but not on reliabilty, value or running costs.

The Honda CBR125RR's 125cc 4v single engine makes a learner-legal 13bhp and is as easy to use as it is reliable. The brakes and handling are safe and easy, perfect for learner riders or commuters.

Since its primarily a learner machine crash damage is quite common, but new plastics are cheap and the CBR125RR stands up quite well to low-speed spills. Check lock stops and forks because they break and bend easy. Shocks, exhausts and chains are also prone to rust. If the bike is very tatty walk away because there are plenty of other examples out there.
