Used price: £2,700 - £3,900
Engine: 618cc air-cooled v-twin
Power: 63bhp
Top speed: 125mph
Weight: 183kg

The Multistrada 620 was Ducati's entry level bike for those looking for an all-rounder with Italian style. It was dropped from the range after just a few years, which is a shame because it's a good option for those looking for a first big bike.

The Multistrada 620 is powered by the same motor as the Monster 620, but it has a little more weight to carry and the difference that makes is noticable. Not that it's bad - it's revvy and fun with sharp power delivery and a good spread of usable power. But it could use a little more top end.

Almost everything about the Multistrada 620 makes it perfect for touring - good screen, low comfy seat, wide bars, reassuring brakes... so it's a shame the tank holds only 15 litres (good for just 115 miles). A fuel gauge would help but sadly you just get a warning light.

As you'd expect all the right labels are there - Sachs rear shock, Marzocchi forks and Brembo calipers.

When the new the Multistrada 620 seemed pricey compared to faster and cheaper Japanese competition, but it is a Ducati. At used prices it makes more sense.
