Well it was a rather nice day today so I headed out and about for a while. Decided to pop up Westgate Hill........do you know, there's some wanker riding around Newcastle on a Pan European done up to look like a plod's bike. He's wearing hi-viz and even his white helmet has had trim added to make it look like a plod's helmet. He appeared to be deliberately riding hesitantly and slowly to try to piss off other road users. What a cunt.

"I'm planning a 4,000 mile touring holiday for next summer as a 'goodbye' to my old Pan European, before I trade it in for the new Triumph Trophy. "I'm not sure what tyres to use, and what other kit I should be taking with me %X96 any advice would be great." Your answer could help. The best will be printed in MCN. Got...

Yesterday was an interesting day. My girlfriend Kate has taken to riding pillion and we are planning a couple of trips for next year, including a two-week jaunt to Spain. As some of you may know, I currently have two bikes in my garage - a 2005 Fazer 1000 and a %X9198 VFR800. The VFR is the bike I usually use for touring as I am less precious with it. However, with more two up touring planned I have decided to look at getting a tourer. Today we test-rode two of the market leaders - The Honda Pan ...

To top it all off when reported to my insurance company they stated that the insurance had been cancelled the week before. This amazed me as i had only taxed it the day it was stolen and the post office had used the policy in question so how could it be cancelled? . what hurts the most is that this was the ...

The new Triumph Trophy 1200 will be revealed this Friday evening here on www.motorcyclenews.com, but thanks to spy shots we already have a very good idea what it will look like: a BMW R1200RT crossed with a smidge of Pan European. This follows Triumph's Tiger 800, which looked remarkably like a BMW F800.So do you think Triumph are right to shamelessly...

Triumph's all-new 1200cc Trophy is still months away from being officially launched but an MCN reader managed to get the best shots yet after seeing the bike hidden behind a McDonald's. The Trophy is Triumph%X92s assault on the class-leading BMW R1200RT, Honda%X92s venerable ST1300 Pan European and Yamaha's FJR1300. It is also likely to steal sales from the more expensive BMW...
