Honda xl125v gear lever adjust?

HiI'm new to biking, and have a Varadero 125.I got some tcx boots which are mohoosive and I can't actually get my foot under the gear lever at all. I can't find any info if its possible to adjust the gear lever. Is it just a case of undoing the 2 nuts on the linkage and twisting this to move the lever up? Or have I got to take the lever off the spline to make the adjustment, and will this work or is there further adjustment to make afterwards? Thanks

Bike Chooser: Mini adventure bikes

Honda Varadero XL125 Honda%X92s baby adventure bike has been busily going about its business since 2001 and is something of an unsung hero of the 125 class. Looking like a mini version of the Varadero 1000 (which was launched two years earlier in 1999), the 125 even uses a tiny and intricate V-twin motor. How%X92s that for attention to detail? The Varadero...

Honda Varadero 125, F1 Warning Light?

I bought a Honda Varadero 125 a month ago, no problems whatsoever. I've done about 750 miles since I bought it. A couple of days ago the speedometer started playing up - going up and down, turning off and coming back on randomly. Now I have a red F1 warning light going on and off randomly and am not sure what it is or what to do... any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Honda Fork Seals

I had a tidy up in the garage today.  I found a set of Honda fork seals - part No 51490-MCF-000 (2 x oil and dust seals) that are surplus to requirements.  They will fit CBR900-RRY, VFR800 2003-2006 models and the 2003-2006 XL1000 Varadero.  Free to anyone that needs them.
