Having written off my K1200S after a slight disagreement with some gravel on a bend i'm now on the lookout for something different and fancy a naked bike but not having any experience of such a beast I'd like some opinions/advice. I'm going to have (hopefully %XA35k) to play with. Obvious contenders Triumph Speed Triple, Aprilia Tuono, KTM Superduke and outside contender Kawasaki Z1000. Anyone have any other suggestions let me know.

Ok guys following a disagreement with some gravel in the road which has resulted in my K1200s being written off I'm looking for a change and I'm fancing a second hand naked bike around the 5k mark. Obvious contenders are Triumph Speed Triple, Aprilia Tuono, KTM Superduke and an outsider is a Kawasaki Z1000. Any advice or experiences would be appreciated. I'm looking for something with reliability and a finish thats not going to crumble at the first glimpse of wintery weather.

Enter the Kawasaki Z800. Aggressive in all its naked glory, silky smooth and refined%X85 a world apart from the old 750 and even the Z1000. It's more than enough to drag...

Hi FellasI've had this 2004 z1000 since January and have been using it all the time. But only getting to know it better now the weather is improving. I've been messing, to make it handle better and pleased to say it is. Now, new problem yesterday. Under hard acceleration at around 10-11k rpm in most gears the revs go up to max out and the power dips. It feels like the back wheel is spinning but it can't be at 145mph. I thought thats what was happening under 100 but when it was still doing it at over 130 I realised ...

Hi Guys, I have bought a 04 Z1000 to use all year round to go to and from work as well as weekend riding with sports bikey mates. I have been riding for 12 years and have been known for being a bit of a.... idiot, with everyone telling me I'm gonna kill myself one day. Anyway I am now a husband and father and have calmed myself down. I find the Z a practical big bike to use everyday, with enough poke to wheelies to show off but when it comes to corners it is not giving me the confidence ...
