After his injury he came back in 2010 fighting for podiums and even won a race. He started the season winning the first race and got third twice before the crash. He ended up third behind Ped, despite his injury and he stayed in front of Stoner on a horrible Ducati. Rossi joins Ducati and proves how horrible that bike is on bikes that have improved all around him. He's had one bad year on the Ducati and looks like he'll have another and people are calling him to leave. He's won 7 times in Moto GP and he is early ...

Reading this week's paper Valentino Rossi seems to be a very unhappy bunny. What's the chance of neither Dovi or Crutchlow getting the 2nd Tech 3 ride next year and Rossi riding the Yamaha instead?

Hats off to him, 5th fastest on first day and outperformed Dovisioso, and Rossi! Haydn seems to be making that Ducati work for him. And top result for RdP on the ART. Wonder how that bike compares with Max's WSB version...?

This SportRider article confirms what I've been hearing. COTA has not secured the MotoGP race rights. I hope they do so soon!http://www.sportrider.com/news/146_12030_austin_cota_racetrack_saga_continues_hellmund_files_suit_against_former_track_partners/index.html[quote]Tavo Hellmund, the racing promoter credited with envisioning and then creating the framework for the Austin F1 race through his contacts within the racing industry%X97including F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone%X97has filed suit against his former financial partners in the Austin venture......his longstanding motorsports contacts that enabled him to land a contract for a Formula One race in the Austin area (in addition to MotoGP and Australian V8 Supercars races in 2013), was pulled out from under him via %X93an improper ...

Ok we know Ducati tried to tread a different path with the Carbon Airbox/Chassis, which was fair enough, they always do things differently, steel trellis/90 degree "L" twin for example. The carbon chassis didn't work for Rossi, but Stoner won on it, and Hayden had some ok results with it.Question is, why didn't they carry on with the trellis design, but with Aluminium or Titanium instead? Radical make frames for Ducati's from both materials, and surely the bike would have kept some of its Steel characteristics? Seeing an alloy twin spar Ducati confuses the brain! What do you guys think?
