chain guide

Hi guys, anyone ever changed a chain guide? how long should they last ? i think my CBF guide needs changing , my chain is wearing at the top of the links , its only 2 moth old and the only thing i can see possibly causing this is the chain guide - needless to say its not the easiest thing to replace as i need to remove the swing arm bolts !

parkers guide?

How accurate is the online parkers guide to valuing bikes? I am in the market for a second hand bike, and whenever I look up the guide the value is more often than not a lot less the the asking prices. Is this just ambitious sellers or am I missing something? Jambobairn.
