I've owned this bike for 5 years and have looked after it. Have always stored it indoors and had it serviced at my local BMW dealership. 9 months MOT. Never crashed, dropped, scratched or otherwise abused, just used for touring and pottering about. Tyres have plenty of tread left on them. ABS and heated grips, of course. The only reason I'm selling is that I haven't used it as much recently due to a lack of time... otherwise I'd be keeping hold of this fantastic bike. I'll be sad to see it go.

Very good condition desert yellow R 1200GS with BMW heated grips, BMW satnav & alarm, Wurth engine bars, Vario panniers. metal screw tax disc, aftermarket can (carbon can company, nice sound). Reliable like you'd expect a BMW to be. Brand new rear tyre, front tyre nearly new, both Metzlers- in my experience the best compromise in performance and lifespan. BMW issues: The gear indicator sometimes plays up like a lot of R1200GSs, but an application of WD40 to the wire does the trick. The fuel pump went on me at 2k miles so that issue has been sorted. Excellent condition and only two owners from new. Due to shoulder surgery I am having to revert to a lighter bike. On my recent trips to Spain and Germany my Pan performed faultlessly. You are looking at my GS, one of the original 2004 re-issues which came with ABS as standard before it became an optional extra in 2005. I have owned this incredibly reliable machine from about 900 miles (in 2005) to its current 21k+ and those 20,000 miles have included trips to Ibiza, the Dolomites and Scotland.
