250r has been a great starter bike for years or so I've read, now with the new 300 I'm wondering if it is worth saving up the extra money and getting the 300 since it will take longer to get bored of it. However there is also the issue of the fact it will likely be brought new and you always drop your first bike, ABS would be worth getting I think but you can live without it [right?] So is the extra 50cc and %XA31k + worth it? I want the Bike for uni and getting around Manchester, the Uni I ...

I recently purchased a YBR125 custom. It came with a GIVI A604 screen. I haven't been able to fully open up the taps yet as it's still in its break in period but it struggles to do much over 50 mph. Am I expecting too much from a 125 or could the screen actually be harming the aerodynamics of the bike? It doesn't seem to be keeping the wind off me at all.I know that the custom isn't the most aerodyamic bike but I don't have the lumbar spine or shoulders for anything with a less upright seating position.Thank you.

I took my full bike test in April 2011 aged 17. I'm aware that after 2 years I can ride any bike without any restrictions. My question is as follows, do I have to wait two years from the date I passed my test or is it as soon as I turn 19 years old?

Looking to get my first bike and I have been looking at the Rieju Marathon 125 Air Cooled Supermoto. Just wondering whether it is a good first bike and what it is like as I can't find any real reviews on this specific model. Cheers

New member - found the site after doing a bit of research. Looking for some experienced advice. Situation is I am starting a new job and the commute is looking most practical via motorbike which just happens to fall in line with something I have always wanted to do. Currently have no experience on bikes. I have booked my CBT for in a few weeks. My dream bike has always been a Yamaha 125dx/dr since I was a young lad (mid 30s) now. Gutted ...

Hello,So to cut a long story short, I had a motorcycle accident when I was 17 (8 years ago). I had previously done my restricted license but I unfortunately lost my right leg below my knee due to an idiot car hitting me whilst I was stationary.DVLA have said that as been as I now have a medical coniditon they would recommend me pass my test again with the condition. I am fine with that as I am not very confident at the moment and would like to have the instruction all over again in a controlled environment. Plus its ...

Hi all, I'm looking for some constructive suggestions. I've just landed a new job that includes a 104-mile round-trip commute (92 miles motorway, 12 miles urban). Any practical suggestions for a bike big enough for the motoway but agile enough around town. Weekend fun to be considered also. I haven't got a bike because I've been working abroad, but I'm home now for the foreseeable future. I have a motocross background and my last bike was a 600 Hornet. My current thoughts are: Yamaha BT1100; KTM Duke; Triumph Street Triple/Speed Triple; Yamaha MT01/03 I'm 52yrs old, been riding since my teens and will not ...
