hi im 28 and wanted to do my a2 licence but with this new law that has come in will i still be able to do my a2 licence and after the 2 years will i still be able to up grade to a 600 or would i have to do the mod 1 & 2 to get on a 600 ? some one please explain to me thanks

Hi there after much searching I have finally found a bike to ride now I have passed my A2 test (pre 19th January) I am restricted to 33bhp and have bought a honda vf400f 1983 model. I am aware that in 1983 this bike was 54.5bhp and am wondering if it is likely that it is now below the 33bhp limit? If it is above and I fit a restrictor kit to the carbs will this automatically lower it to 33bhp or take it below? (found a kit on ebay aparently matches the nc21 specs) What I mean is if ...

Hi all, we bought the above bike for my son for his 19th birthday in october since then it has been back to the dealer 8 times for a variety of faults including cutting out, not starting , back wheel seizing twice whilst riding and a loose back wheel (came back loose after being fixed). the bike had 236km on the clock from new. The bike is in being fixed at the moment and my son has lost all confidence in the bike. Can any one offer any advice from a legal stand point regarding asking for our money back? ...

I had my Cat A removed from my licence sometime between 1980 and 1995 (digital removal) I couldn't prove I had the test because I quit biking for a long time and so took my test recently under the old system. I want to take the test for unrestricted riding. What do I have to complete for the new unrestricted Licence?

Im claiming on the mib for a crash i had due to diesel, but have no idea how much im gonna get. anyone came off on diesel and claimed?I had concussion, broken ribs, shoulder damage (now waiting for an operation), tinnitus (still got), memory loss (still got), confusion for 6 months (lost my job as a result), whip lash for 6 months, bike was off the road months getting repaired, ruined my Aria and full kit. Has anyone else came off a cracker on diesel and claimed? how much did you get? Cheers

I might have been missing something about the licence changes of 19 January 2013. I have held a class A licence for over 40 years (I passed my bike test in 1971), I have not done any CBT, Theory or any other DVLA based training. Does this mean I now lose this class ie. I can still ride any size motorcycle, or have I now to go on an enhanced course ? The DVLA website is confusing ( or it might be my age ?).

I%X92ve held a car licence for 25 years and its been clean for at least 5 years. I past my Direct Access in March 2012. Over the Xmas period I drove through a speed camera in a car doing 36 in a 30 zone and the camera flashed at least once to my knowledge. I have been told that if I am prosecuted for speeding, I will lose both car and bike licences under the 2 year probationary period ruling. Is this correct? If not, what is ...

Just letting you guys know so we can spread the word, i successfully claimed against ebike for charging me insurance after my accident(non fault) where they carried on charging me for insurance knowing my bike wasnt being used. They would not have advised me of that and kept my money had i not sued, naturally you want to keep working towards NCB so if in doubt wait untill policy ends then claim. I am now claiming against MCE for not doing a mid term adjustment to a cheaper quote i got, still in process im claiming the money back ...

I had an accident on the M4 last November due to a reckless driver, and although the bike did not seem to have suffer too much it was been asses by the third party and they are scrapping it (cat D).
