Anonymous, 13 April 2009 15:02

Well summer is coming soon, a happy time for most of us who enjoy a good ride through the twisties. Unfortunately I made the mistake of going into Wales on a sunday morning, totally against my principles and better judgement. I bought myself a low mileage Ducati 999, two weeks ago, and like a big kid (i'm 54 and been ...

Anonymous, 17 March 2009 14:15

Sirs, Usual story have ridden motorcycles for about 35 years. No accidents since I was a young tearaway. Had an accident last year where a woman failed to indicate right, was in the middle of the lane allowing her to stop traffic to let her friend out of the turning, lots of smiling and waving. Yet more state control...

Anonymous, 18 February 2009 12:36

I'm all for responsible riding but as usual minorities damage the reputation of the vast majority who ride for fun, friendship and the sheer thrill of biking. Secure parking for motorbikes in Edinburgh!

Anonymous, 02 August 2008 23:25

I sent the following letter to Edinburgh Council: I've lived in Edinburgh since 2000 and we've seen resident's parking introduced into our area, which has good & bad points - we actually lost several car-spaces when the road was re-marked for resident/pay & display spaces. Spaces that are now being wasted/not benefiting anyone/not improving road usage for anyone! What might ...

A joyful ride ending in tears

Anonymous, 22 July 2008 11:43

Ahhhh.....a warm sunny Monday morning it was in May and boy was I glad going to work on two wheels! My just washed and polished Triumph Speed Four with a glistening stubby exhaust that would wake up the other side of London bridge if I wanted to! Anyway my 15 mile commute was absolute pleasure, showing off the shine to ...

Unmarked Police Bikes in Kent

Anonymous, 14 July 2008 20:54

Kent Police have proudly announced their new unmarked patrol bikes, specifically to "catch thrill-seekers unaware" in their newspaper, "Policing Kent 2008-11". They also state "riders count for one per cent of the vehicles on the roads, but tragically more than 25% are seriously injured or killed". What? One in four of us will die this year? Surely some mistake, Mr ...
