Video: Production starts on Ducati Monster 696

Ducati has started pre-production of the new Monster 696. The firm's boss, Gabriele Del Torchio, posted this video on the firm's Desmoblog website showing the first bikes being assembled. Unfortunately, the video is in Italian, but it reveals the progressing development on the bike.

Long Way Down Nissans

Nissan has revealed limited edition versions of the Navara pickup and Patrol 4x4 to celebrate Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman’s “Long Way Down” trip. Two million speeding tickets a year issued to motorists

Official government figures have revealed that almost two million speeding tickets are being issued to motorists a year. Since Labour came to power the amount of speeding tickets has almost trebled from 700,000 a year to 1.9 million. Along with an increase in the basic speeding fine, this means speeding tickets now raise £120 million a year.
