Fogarty charity honour

Carl Fogarty and his wife Michaela have been honoured by the NSPCC for their role in ending child cruelty. The Fogartys will be inducted into the NSPCC’s ‘Hall of Fame’ this week for their outstanding and consistent contribution to the charity. Wheelie record holder dies

The holder of the world’s fastest wheelie record has died in a bike accident near the Nurburgring, Germany. Terry Calcot made the news in MCN when he completed a 172.9mph wheelie for a kilometre on a modified GSX-R1000 at Elvington, Yorkshire in September 2006. The talented daredevil motorcyclist leaves behind two children.

Norfolk Police are looking for a biker clocked at 170mph by a speed trap on the A47 near Kings Lynn.
