A motorcyclist has been given a six-month suspended jail sentence for pulling a wheelie and speeding at 149mph on the M2 in Kent. From April, first-time speeders caught going up to 16mph over the limit will be offered £100 'speed awareness courses' instead of three points and a £60. A third of the course fee will go to funding cameras in a bid to keep them running following Government spending cuts.

BMW recalls 122,000 bikes

BMW has announced a recall of 122,000 bikes worldwide over brake problems. Models affected are the R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure, R1200R, R1200RT, R1200ST and K1200GT.
