Ducati set to launch new Monster

Hungarian bike firm back after 30 years

Hungarian bike firm Pannonia is being revived this year with a new V-twin cruiser. It’s just a 234cc motor, making 18.5bhp, but it’s the first bike to carry the Pannonia name since the mid 1970s, when the original firm collapsed. The name dates back to 1954, and in 20 years of production the company turned out 689,039 machines.

Airbag Goldwings arrive in June

Honda has announced its airbag-equipped Goldwing is to finally go into production in its American factory in the near future, with the first machines arriving in American dealerships on June 29, 2007. The airbag machine will come in the white and silver colour scheme shown here.

Stelvio back to the drawing board

After being shown to dealers in a secret meeting last month, Moto Guzzi’s Stelvio has been sent back the firm’s R&D department to have a series of alterations made. Guzzi insiders say the bike will get alterations to the front fairing and engine upgrades before its official unveiling, which is now scheduled for October this year.

This new Triumph prototype has been caught testing at the Almeria circuit in Spain. Although it looks a lot like a stock Speed Triple, the bike has a double-sided swingarm similar to that on the Daytona 675, and a different chassis compared to the stock Speed Triple.
