Eastbourne Eagles speedway star fined for assault

Motorcycle speedway rider Lewis Bridger has been fined £1500 and ordered to pay £500 compensation, after admitting to an assault. The 18-year old Eastbourne Eagles rider appeared before Lewes Crown Court late last week and was charged following a punch-up in a nightclub, but avoided a spell in prison because of his success in speedway.
