“Five Continents” Yamaha R1 sold at auction

This 2009 Yamaha R1 was created in collaboration with Valentino Rossi and boasts the “Five Continents” graphics previously seen on his AGV helmets.

The colourful graphics were designed by artist Aldo Drudi, while the bike is also decorated with Rossi’s signature.

The bike was auctioned this week in Los Angeles by British firm Bonhams.

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Riders for Health.
