Ducati 999 beach racer

1 of 12

Developed on the base of a second-hand Ducati 999 this bike was made for high speed beach runs (as its name hints).

Created by Haldane’s Motorcycles in New Zealand this bike is equipped with a fully adjustable Nemesis race ECU, which is front-mounted with the battery case and waterproofed, a custom wiring loom, MX top-clamp and bars, a custom race exhaust system, and modified rear 17-inch rear wheel with 150-section knobbly tyre.

The Testastretta delivers its horsepower via a quick action throttle and can reach 137mph.

This bike is certainly not the best for crossing because of its weight, nonetheless it seems to be the perfect tool to attempt a beach speed record.

It is currently for sale at the price of £6480. More information on www.trademe.co.nz
