The Oddjob is Sydney based Deus' latest pared-down dirt track inspired take on the Yamaha SR500.
The original air-cooled 499cc single cylinder was bored out to 542cc and blueprinted by Carl Batley of Cafe Racer, with a Carillo rod thrown in for good measure. A Keihin FCR39 carb lets the motor breathe and a high-level exhaust completes the performance mods.
A 4-pot Brembo caliper and wavey disc help it to stop, whilst the red caliper is tied in with a red carb trumpet and barrel.
The slim custom tank and seat unit lend a retro race inspired appearance, whilst a clear perspex splashguard keeps things clean. Original wheels were powder coated black and shod in Dunlop K180 dirt track rubber to complete the look.
