MCN, 25 April 2012 17:44

It’s a sad fact for speed freaks that superbike sales have slipped in recent years, while things like naked and adventure bikes are on the up. So can one of the most exciting, talked-about motorcycles this year - the Ducati Panigale - reignite our passion for all things very fast? Ducati certainly hope so and have thrown the kitchen sink at the ...

MCN, 15 February 2012 10:45

2003 World Superbike champion Neil Hodgson was at the Ducati 1199 Panigale launch in Abu Dhabi and was kind enough to let MCN bolt-on some onboard cameras during one of his sessions. Ducati's 848 Streetfighter overpowers Triumph Street Triple R

Trevor Franklin, 17 November 2011 13:06

Ducati say their Streetfighter 848 is suitable for riders who want Ducati’s legendary sports bike performance without the head down, arse up seating stance of a race replica. And our world first group test proves they are right. The Streetfighter 848 is Ducati’s usable naked Streetfighter (unlike its bigger brother), complete with traction control, data log facility and modern day ...

Staff bikes: Ducati Diavel - No pain, no gain

Ian Jubb, 13 October 2011 16:18

As with all my motorcycle adventures, it started with poor timing and a torrential downpour. The panic to make the 8.15pm Brittany Ferries sailing from Portsmouth to St Malo meant I had to average more than 60mph over the 195-mile journey, which meant some swift progress on damp roads. This was the first truly wet journey on the bike which ...

Staff bikes: Ducati Monster 1100 Evo - The modern cafe racer

Marc Abbott, 25 August 2011 16:44

Over the months that I've owned the Monster, many have asked me "What's it like?" My default answer is "A real, good, honest motorcycle". Which sounds like damning it with faint praise; that's far from my intention. What I mean to say is that this stripped back, stylish, air-cooled Italian V-twin, punting out a modest 100bhp at the crank, is - for ...
