There’s no getting away from it: Triumph’s Speed Triple is an excellent bike. Its superb handling, amazing triple engine, inimitable style and decent value makes it the class leading super naked. So adding another 60bhp and a huge amount of torque sounds like making the best even better – a bit like having an amazing party, then adding a group of cheer leaders and Ozzy Osborne.
To achieve the power increase Silverstone-based tuners TTS have developed a supercharger kit for the Speed Triple.
The supercharged triple still takes my breath away every time I wind open the throttle. Because of the sheer grunt and torque on tap it feels like someone has squeezed a tuned Suzuki GSX-R1000 motor into the Triumph’s chassis.
