Big and scary
I rode one of the smaller (5.7 litre) versions at Monkey Rock, Sturgis. Wotta beast! Once out on the road it was stable and handled reasonably well for such a huge bike. It sounded great, and once out of the 35 limit I was able to open it up. Wow! Instant acceleration to 70! Love the power! The missus rode one of the trike's and loved it; very easy to ride, she said. She wants one now!
Turning the bugger round in the car park was real scary; the weight may be low down but it is a very heavy bike and I'd prefer a clutch you could haul in to disconnect the V8 from the rear wheel: the automatic transmission works well but a slip of the wrist at low speed could end up with you losing the bike. A great experience, kind of works on US roads, but imagine it up the Yorkshire Dales? I don't think so!
Saw a supercharged and nitrous injected version once: 720 bhp! Madness!
