Yamaha Tenere world first group test

We’re off to Scotland to test the new Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z against its established rivals.

The long-awaited 1200 parallel has just landed in the UK so we’ve whisked the first one in the country off to the Scottish Borders for a comprehensive road test with MCN’s Michael Neeves and three MCN readers.   

The £13,499 Yamaha faces stiff competition from Ducati’s brilliant new Multistrada 1200 S Touring at £14,295, our specced up BMW R1200GS Adventure at £13,460 and KTM’s more off-road focussed 990 Adventure at £11,245.
