MCN has been testing MV Agusta’s all-new F4 1000 against the bike it replaces, the F4 1078 312RR this week – and you can find out how the new bike stacks up against the iconic machine it replaces.

The new F4 1000 has a new frame, engine and styling, though the end result is more evolution than revolution.

It’s lighter than the old bike, although power and torque is slightly down, it’s been designed to be easier to ride.

However, the old 1078 312RR is still available as a brand new bike for £12,000 - £2250 less than the new bike.

Is the new bike worth the extra cash? Or should you snap up one of the old bikes before they’re gone?

Find out in MCN, on sale Wednesday March 24 – we’ll be uploading a video online too.
