Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl talks Harley trikes

When it comes to rock stars, they don’t come much cooler than Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana etc) – or so we thought until we saw the ad he recently made for Harley.

Grohl says he got into bikes while recording legendary Nirvana album Nevermind in LA , has since owned a variety of Hogs and even that his music and lyrics are inspired by the distinctive Harley ‘potato-potato’ sound and his riding.

All well and good – until he starts waxing lyrical about his Harley Street Glide Trike (bought, he admits, as it’s the only bike his wife would consider getting on board) and reckoning it’s “pretty much the most fun you’ve ever had… and looks badass”

Harley in LA we understand; there are plenty of ‘badass’ Harleys, too. But a Street Glide Trike? C’mon Dave, you can do better than that…

What do you think?
