Wellington Town Council in Shropshire has filled a pothole, after seven years of complaints.
A ‘rapid response team’ arrived to fix the 2 ½ ft wide pothole, which had been there so long grass had began to grow in it.
One local told The Sun, “It’s hilarious. If that’s the councils rapid I’d hate to see how fast they react normally.”
The council insisted that it had not needed fixing before.
