The second Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club

The second Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club meet. The morning of 17th March 2010 it was in St Johns Wood, near lords cricket ground.

Riders are fed up with being treated like cars by Westminster City Council.

“IF YOU TREAT US LIKE CARS, WE WILL BEHAVE LIKE CARS”…”NO MORE TALKING!” Every Wednesday there will be a gathering of motorcycles and scooters in undisclosed locations around Westminster Council.

Notice of the location will be sent out flash mob via SMS a few hours before the gathering.

Of course this could cause a little bit of congestion in Westminster, but so be it, time for talking is over, 3,000+ objections to the Motorcycle Parking Tax have been ignored by Westminster City Council, not once, but twice over!

The time for action is now, they are not listening any more, and with a High Court challenge coming up against Westminster City Hall and an investigation by the EU commission over parking contract irregularities relating to the Motorcycle Parking Tax the time for more pressure is now.

They will now continue every week until the bike parking tax is scrapped.

To register for the SMS location alert, please sign up here by filling in the short form: http://bit.ly/9MxCKO NO MORE TALKING!

PS. Aside from these morning gatherings, the No To the Bike Parking Tax campaign is in the process of organising a demonstration the likes of which Westminster Council have not seen before!

To keep up to date with what, where and when, since this Parking Tax will only spread outside of Westminster we don’t continue to fight it in Westminster.

Check out the campaign website which is full of information: http://www.notobikeparkingtax.com

The High Court challenge and EU investigations, and Met Police investigations are already rattling cages inside Westminster City Hall.

The campaign is backed by FEMA, BMF and MAG.
