We've been browsing MCN bikes for sale every day to bring you some of our top picks from over 10,000 motorcycles for sale.
Here's just a few of the fantastic modern classic machines available this week:
 |
1992 Kawasaki ZXR400 - £1200 Kawasaki’s classic 400 supersport bike makes modern 600s look like torque-monsters. Still handy on track or backroad in the right hands. We say: Looks largely original, in the best colours, low miles, and it’s cheap. Set aside £300 quid for tidying up and giving the brakes and suspension a freshen up to get the best out of it.

1981 Yamaha RD250LC - £1250 The current mid-life crisis classic of choice, the 100mph 250LC was the hottest learner bike of the 1980s. We say: This one’s probably already sold. Tidy and largely original but not mint, the £1250 asking price is an utter bargain when others go for thrice that. Ideal base for further restoration, or just to ride and enjoy without worrying about it too much.

1991 Triumph Daytona 1000 - £1400 Hinckley Triumph’s first sportsbike, the 1000 was more of sports tourer in reality. 1000 didn’t last long, so they’re rare. We say: Built to last, and largely owned by caring types, this 34,000-miler looks very neat and original. Likely to appreciate in value in years to come due to its rarity and significance in Triumph’s rebirth.

1986 Kawasaki GPZ900R - £1500 A key milestone on the road to the superbikes we have today – decent power, good handling for the time and a full fairing. A genuine 150mph machine, and comfy enough to do big miles even now. We say: This second-year bike is in unusual (but standard) blue colours, two owners, completely stock with full service history and 27k on the clock. If it stands up to inspection it’s a great example of the GPZ.
