Car breakdown firm Axa Assistance has chosen it’s first ever motorcycle for fast response – a Kawasaki 1400GTR that’s already been saving motorists where vans can’t reach.

The bike used for the trial has seen several months of service already, and is proving useful reaching breakdowns in places the traditional vans can’t reach – height restricted car parks for example.

It’s ability to filter through traffic also means it can reach cars much quicker in busy periods.

Guy Schofield, Motor General Manager of AXA Assistance said:

“Our motorcycle owning clients have already commented on how pleasing it is to see the Kawasaki mounted rider turning up to help them.

"The flexibility it offers has undoubtedly benefitted many other stranded AXA Assistance (UK) Ltd clients too.

“However you look at it, whether the bike is used to help in a complex incident, or simply to ensure that a client gets back on the road as soon as possible, the Kawasaki 1400GTR has helped underpin our enviable reputation for fast response times and a high level of customer satisfaction.”
