Pick up a bargain Desmosedici at British MotoGP

Besides watching qualifying for the British MotoGP at Silverstone on June 11, fans will also have the chance to pick up a bargain Ducati Desmosedici RR.

The exclusive V4 race replica is up for auction at the circuit on the day before the GP, along with a selection of other bikes and kit. The 2008 one-owner Desmo is in full Ducati livery, has less than 5,000 miles and is offered in as-new condition. If you take £36,000 with you, that should bag it.

Eurosport’s MotoGP commentator Toby Moody is auctioneer for the sale. He said: “This is a stunning bike in extraordinary condition. There’s limited opportunities to get hold of a machine like this especially as, sadly, there’s been a good few written off around the world. They only made 1500 and they’re certainly not going to make any more!”

If the Desmo evades you, you can also bid on – amongst others – a limited edition 2007 Ducati Monster S4R S Testastretta with just 450 miles on the clock, a Harley Fat Bob with just 500 miles, and a 1956 Maserati 50T2 SS with a few more than that.

You can also bid on Max Biaggi’s old crash helmet, should you require a target for rifle practice.
