Nearly 8,000 attended the BMF’s Scottish Kelso Bikefest Show at the weekend.
Despite nearby heavy rain the show remained mainly warm and dry with showgoers enjoying bands such as Almer Fiera and Piledriver.
On Saturday there were heavy showers; enough to cut short a 100-mile ride-out on the Borders country roads.
Harley-Davidson and Saltire Suzuki supported this year’s show, where both provided a number of demo bikes for showgoers to test ride. Traders reported sales were good throughout the weekend.
Martin Chick, BMF event organiser said: "This was our second Kelso BikeFest and although attendance was once again hit by unsettled weather on Saturday, the atmosphere around the showground was terrific. People were smiling and traders were doing good business."
A raffle was held that raised £245 towards the Horn of Africa appeal. Borders General Hospital also received £595 from Suzuki and the general public.
The next BMF event is the Tailend Show on September 10 to 11, Lincolnshire Showground.
