Ducati wins UK trade award

Ducati has won a UK trade award in recognition of its achievements in 2011.

The ‘Brand Recognition Award’ is part of the UK-Italy Business Awards, organised by the British Government to formally recognise the excellence of Italian industries that have chosen to operate within the UK.

Ducati was presented the award by Vic Annels, Consul General and Director for UK Trade & Investment in Italy. The same week, Ducati UK announced a significant growth in sales for 2011: the highest level since 2003.

Chairman of Ducati Motor Holding, Gabriele Del Torchio, received the award saying:
“I am very proud to accept, on behalf of Ducati, this prestigious award, which clearly recognises the value of a brand loved and respected in the United Kingdom as well as in the rest of the world.

“We are achieving significant business goals that confirm the value of our products and our strategic choices”.
