Video: Fastest recorded motorcycle lap of the Nurburgring

You can tell that that has taken some serious commitment to learn the speeds at which you can ride around there.  Scary corner entry speeds, tipping in before you can see the corner.  Awesome.

The reason that the speedo does not match the actions of the video, is most likely because the displayed speedo is based on GPS data, which often lags slightly behind, especially when it has a poor signal (ie. close to trees etc.).

Wowwwww ! What a lap !!! This guy is an amazing rider - I reckon he'd have done the lap 7 or 8 seconds faster if he wasn't held up in a few places. I hope he achieves his ambition of doing the TT ! And on that subject, I'd love to see McGuinness do the Nurburgring - now that would be truly AWESOME !
