Would you buy a sidecar?

I think the voting on this `issue' reinforces my comments very nicely guys! 61% for sidecars and 38% against. Roll on summer, so I can turn off my heated bars!!

Rotherider, that `hideous contraption' in George and Mildred, could be your downfall! As it stood, it was worth MORE than the rest of the vehicles on the film set!! Only a few viewers realised what they were seeing on their tv screen. A complete Brough Superior outfit, yes, both George Brough and his son, made special sidecars for their bikes and like their bikes, they were, expensive! Of course, if it's good enough for Brough, it's good enough for me! Go back to `On the Buses' mate, Olive liked her side car too.

This is a topic guaranteed to tick me off! Everyone has different tastes, bikers are no exception. There are one or two comments on here that are ill considered, regarding my opener. I LIKE a sidecar outfit very much, but you won't hear me give negative vibes on alternative machinery (not necessarily their riders!!)So when MCN, in its wisdom(or lack off) raises a vote on combies or solos, I consider it in bad taste! We all like our fun and we all do it ion different ways, long may that continue! So don't vote me off my Ural, I certainly won't descriminate against you rice burners. An ideal situation would be that NO-ONE gives their vote and let MCN see what they make out of that!! They'll be starting on Harley owners next (That'd start the fur flying!!) It's a point worthy of note, that insurance premiums before the war, would be halved with the permanent fixture of a sidecar. Although those days have long gone, it is still relatively cheap to insure my Dalesman. So comments on combi safety should be tempered with ACTUAL knowledge, combine with some qualified experience (hands on!)( obviously too much Olive, `On The Busses' in their brain?)Wake up too reality son!
