New Aprilia RSV4 R on the road!

MCN raved about Aprilia’s new ‘budget’ RSV4R (if you can call £12,743 budget) when we rode it at Mugello in November. It was all going well until five of the launch bikes suffered terminal con rod failures. 

Aprilia were keen to prove this mechanical hiccup was a one-off, so invited us back to Portugal to ride it again on the track, and for the first time, on the road.
