Honda CB1100F close to production

These computer-generated images straight out of Japan show the hotly-anticipated Honda CB1100F – a bike that our Japanese sources are adamant will be a 2010 model in Japan at least.
The latest information suggests the CB1100F retains much of the retro styling but gets a newly designed side panel, engine crankcases from the CB1300R and will come with a long list of optional parts including carbon fibre bolts on and even an alcantara seat.
The two images show how the standard bike is thought to be going to look – that’s the blue one. The red version is a bike with Honda accessories fitted.
