Ducati will launch a special edition Nicky Hayden 848 at the Laguna Seca MotoGP in America this weekend.

Besides the paintjob inspired by Ducati’s struggling MotoGP rider, the 848 features an LED dash, 30mm mirror extension kit (thereby rendering them useful) and aluminium cam belt tensioners to reduce weight.

Price in the US is rumoured to be $14,495 (£8858), which is – rather annoyingly - £2000 less than the standard 848 in the UK. For the time being the bike will remain an US-only bike.
