New pictures of Aprilia RSV4 Tuono

The new Aprilia RSV4 Tuono has been spotted for the second time in the last week track testing at Misano.
Motociclismo.it obtained the new set of pictures, which show the bike more clearly than the solitary photo revealed last week.
The pictures also confirm that a cheaper model will be offered - this bike lacks the Ohlins suspension and Brembo monobloc radial calipers of the bike seen last week, instead using cheaper two-piece calipers and what is likely to be a Sachs rear shock and Marzocchi forks.
Designer of both the RSV4 and the new Tuono derivative Miguel Galuzzi told MCN the biggest issue designing the bike was hiding the coolant overflow bottle when designing the naked version, but on these bikes at least he hasn’t found a solution – the fluid reservoir is visible behind the massive radiator, taken straight from the RSV4.
Also confirmed in the pictures is that the RSV4 superbike’s angular low-slung exhaust will be retained. The test bikes display a bare metal finish, though final machinery could get the same black-coating as the faired bike.
