Milan show: Moto Guzzi concepts '80% production ready'

Moto Guzzi’s V12LM, V12X and V12 Strada concept motorcycles are 80% production ready, according to co-designer Pierre Terblanche.

The concepts were revealed today (10 November) at the EICMA show in Milan. Using the latest 110bhp four-valve per cylinder version of the air-cooled transverse Moto Guzzi v-twin, the machines concentrate on compact size and minimalist style.

The three motorcycles were only started in April this year – jointly created by Miguel Galluzzi (responsible for the original Ducati Monster and the Aprilia RSV4), and Pierre Terblanche, best known for the Ducati 999, Multistrada and Supermono.

Terblanche told MCN: “These are really production bikes – 80% of them could be put in to production, only some details like the headlight have pushed beyond. You’d have to talk to the management about when they’ll be in production though.”
