2010 Multistrada 1200 has more torque than an 1198 below 6500rpm

This recently released dyno chart shows how the retuned Testastretta engine in the Ducati Multistrada has been reworked to give more mid-range power and a flatter torque curve.

This means the Multistrada’s engine will require less revving and fewer gear changes during normal road-riding than the 1198, while still producing more power at 6500rpm than a BMW R1200GS makes at maximum output.
