BMW have officially quashed rumours of a half-faired or naked edition of the new S1000RR.
Rumours have been circulating on the internet of a stripped-down version of the class-leading superbike ever since its release last May.
The S1000RR’s exceptional power, speed, handling and state-of-the-art electronics have shaken up the 1000cc class since it’s unveiling.
BMW spokesman Scott Grimsdall said: “We’re concentrating on the launch of the S1000RR and have no plans to expand the S range.”
