KTM launch new KTM 350 SX-F

We’re out in the hills an hour north of Valencia to try one of the most important machines in KTM’s recent history.
With the company recovering from the fallout from the credit crunch, the Austrian firm hope the new £6345 KTM 350 SX-F motocross machine will lead them back to prosperity.
KTM say their new compact 350cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine has the usability of a 250 with the power of a 450, but without the bigger motor’s brutality. As well as the KTM’s novel engine size and new frame, it also has a rear suspension link and fuel injection for the first time. The new bike has already got off to a good start by winning three motocross GPs this year.
The 350 SX-F has been developed closely with 10 times MX champ, Stefan Everts and it’s hoped that it will be successful in the all-important American market.
So far, riders here at the launch are impressed with the KTM 350 SX-F and think it lives up to the hype.
