MV Agusta F3 revealed

The 750 F4 was an exquisite piece of engineering, a cross between a toolmakers toy and a top quality swiss watch.  The 1000 F4 lost a bit of delicacy when it gained the extra ccs.  I looked forward to a ressurection of the MV three's.  I loved the fours and threes when MV were the top marque in GPs (emphatically NOT MoToGp) and hoped the new bike would have the same aura.  I'm not sure this does.  The odd exhaust would have been a style statement on a jap bike or even a Triumph.  The F4's quad exhausts were just such a perfect accompaniment.  It doesn't look right on a MV though.  Similarly, the rear number plate bracket and indicators look divorced from the bike.  The seat seems to be jacked up too far, there's too much air between the subframe and the rear wheel.  I never thought I'd say this but I prefer the basic design of the Daytona.  Perhaps it'll be saved by the attention to detail, who knows?

Usually I,d moan about a £10,000 700cc triple which I hope it is but christ is it a beautifull bike love the exhausts.

I know Ducati do something similar with the 748 but it,s a twin I think but this is much better looking and the sound from a triple will be awesome as Triumph speed triple,s sound great.

Still a bit expensive though but you pays your money and all that stuff! 

Lovely looking bike. They'll probably get about eight built and sold before going bust yet again, disbanding their dealer network yet again and shafting all their customers yet again. Like only Claudio Castiglioni knows how.
