The new 2011 Honda CBR600F claims to offer near-sportsbike levels of performance in a useable, practical and pillion-friendly package.

But MCN deputy editor and CBR600F owner Ped Baker isn't convinced: "The styling is great but I was expecting more than a Hornet in a party dress. I wanted the excitement of a modern sports bike but with the comfort of my CBR. It won't be bad - but it won't be the brilliant all-rounder CBR600Fs used to be."
