World Exclusive: 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R photo gallery

1 of 11

These world first pictures show the most powerful and advanced ZX-10R yet.

The 2011 bike is all-new, with power boosted to an estimated 185bhp, weight down 10kg to 198kg, and one of the most advanced traction control and ride-by-wire engine management systems in the superbike class.

The bike reflects more than three years of work for Kawasaki, which drafted in MotoGP engineers to help with the design.

Kawasaki’s new traction control system is called S-KTRC (Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control) and is a far more sophisticated version of the widely-praised system fitted to the GTR1400 tourer.

The full story about the latest and most advanced sportsbike ever to come out of Japan is covered in full detail in next week’s MCN on sale on October 6.
