Video: Worst bike ad ever?

Honda just released this video advertising its 2010 Hunk (non-UK) model.

Aimed at the Indian market, it’s a “muscular” 150cc equipped with a rear disc brake, tubeless tyres, a digital dashboard and LED taillights of all things. Enjoy!

Its so tacky it might just work! I love it! I would have one over here. Not 250 power but just that little bit more than the 125... Just right.

Please do a road test MCN, please!

It's a dumb concept presentaion not an ad

Hey Pierre, come on neither Indian ad agencies nor Indians are so dumb to make or buy it as an ad? It clearly is some presentation made for internal discussion regarding design conceptualization of the bike which I agree is really awkward. That is NOT an Ad for that bike. The production quality is very very amateurish. Hero Honda ads have been very professional so far.

It's probably just a product AV probably made to educate the sales staff at dealerships.

I'm off to India to get one and ride it back to the UK! I want pumped guns like the guy in the ad - I know I can only get them by riding that bike!

Looks like it was aimed for the Indian market alright. With a "downsized" wage for our "outsourced" jobs, this is what everyone but the rich top 2-5% will be riding before long - if they're lucky. Long live unregulated e-coli capitalism!
