Yamaha offer new deal on new R1

Yes the R6 may be better looking but that's 9k, i'd rather pay the extra £400 and get the GSX-R 750!

Motorcycling has got too expensive. Bikes are becoming ( or have already become) rich boys toys. Servicing costs are going upwards and consumables like brake pads and tyres are a phenominal price. For £12k, I could buy a ZZR1100 and still have £10k over or spend £4k on a superb ZX12r and still have £8k over. That said, if I had to spend £12k on a bike I would buy British but even then a new Speed Triple with all the accessories is still only £8600 and that still leaves me £3400. Damn it, I'll buy a ZZR1100 too and spend the remaining £1400 on beer!!!!
